The Idea Behind Warped State:
Life is such a fragile thing, but how we define each of our lives is what makes it strong, maybe even powerful. Warped State, stemming from the phrase "warped state of mind", is just another way of describing how each person as an individual perceives the world. What one person sees as ordinary, another sees as strange, bizzare...warped. What an indivudual strongly believes in, may be meaningless to another or possibly contrasts their own beliefs. We live in a time when identity is very important, but at the same time, identity is also so torn. Who do we want to be, what steps to we have to take to become the ideal human being, how do we succeed and at what cost? Life is too short to stress about how an individual has to become in order to fit in with or be successful with regards to society's guidelines. At the end of the day, all each and every person really desires is happiness and to have no regrets. It's just like a fairy tale with a happy ending, except only you can determine the outcome. Adventure, try something new, fall in love, accomplish a goal, make a new friend, travel, do what you love to do. At the end of the day if you can look back on the things that have made you into the person you are presently and cause you to smile, then you have succeeded. Create positive memories, look back on good times and plan for more, learn from your mistakes, and don't force yourself to become what others desire of you. Life is short, fill it with as many positive memories as possible, because at the end of the day, what is life really? Life is but a storybook of memories; good, bad, and in between. Everyone loves a good story, so do what you can to make sure yours is an extraordinary one.
Warped State is just another vision, an idea, a story. Something ordinary to some, yet alien to others. A clothing company that strays from simple designs / text and strives to mix the worlds of art, pop culture, music, global issues, and life into a collaboration of color, shape, balance, and creativity.
